Prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include tax, which is added where it applies. Payment is handled by Stripe; card details never reach our server. You can cancel from inside the app at any time — see section 6 of the terms.
Straight answers
The questions worth asking before you pay for anything.
What happens to my books if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. The account returns to the free plan and everything you have entered stays where it is.
Is the free plan a trial?
No. It does not expire and it is not crippled. The gauge, the pockets, the splitting and the export are all in it.
Can I get my data out?
At any time, on either plan, in a plain format that any spreadsheet opens. We would rather you stayed because you want to.
Do you sell my receipts?
No — not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anybody. The privacy policy says exactly who sees what, and why.
Can I cancel easily?
From inside the app, in one place, without writing to anyone or explaining yourself.
Does it renew by itself?
Yes — at the same price, for the same length, until you cancel. You get a receipt every time, and on the yearly plan a reminder a week before it renews. Nobody should be surprised by a charge.
What if I cancel halfway through?
You keep everything you paid for until that period ends, and nothing is taken after it. Cancelling means "do not renew", not "cut me off today".
What about refunds?
A month already paid for is not refunded — you keep it to the end instead. A year is a long time to be stuck with, so the yearly plan can be refunded for the part you have not used, within the first 30 days.
