Currencies

Each receipt keeps the currency it was actually paid in. Totals are always shown per currency and never added together, so a euro is never counted as a dollar.

When the paper does not show which money it is - a bare $ sign could be several - your own currency is used. If that is wrong, open the receipt and change it; the amount is never converted, only the money it is in.

More about this: Trips, projects and events, with receipts in two currencies

A project in ExpenseGauge on a phone called Lisbon, September. It shows $742.00 and €105.90 spent, from five receipts, with buttons to add receipts and to split between people, and the receipts in it listed below, from Livraria Ribeira at €18.90 to Alfama Tram Kiosk at €6.40.
A trip in two currencies, each kept in its own money.
